Hannah Lewis

Music Instructor

Hannah Lewis is a student at the University of Pittsburgh where she is studying Economics with the goal to use business to incorporate her many interests and especially to draw out the unique talents of others. Hannah has enjoyed music since she was a little girl. She is the youngest of eight siblings, all of which grew up playing various orchestral instruments. They would often play together at student recitals or travel to nursing homes to play for the elderly. This early exposure to music performance grew Hannah’s passion and enthusiasm for all music. Hannah started playing the violin at age six and continued her classical training for twelve years. At age sixteen she also began to teach herself piano and guitar with the foundation of music theory she had from years of classical training. Hannah has had the opportunity to be involved with a variety of worship teams and is currently one of the worship leaders at Abundant Joy Fellowship. She has also been asked to play violin at weddings and she hopes to someday be a songwriter. Hannah also has a strong passion for pouring into the next generation through teaching. She believes teachers are more than instructors, they are role models, and aspires to be one for her students. Hannah currently teaches violin.
