OUR STORY
Pittsburgh School of the Arts began in 2015 when Kate Griffin, who had been teaching piano since age 12, hired a few additional instructors to teach out of her home.
It wasn't long before the demand outgrew the limitations of teaching at home. In 2021, Pittsburgh School of the Arts moved into a two-story commercial facility on Route 8, in partnership with Sunset Place Recording Studio, owned by Destin LeCornu, and Speech, Music & Wellness, owned by Angela Farster.
In 2025, Pittsburgh School of the Arts opened its second location on Steubenville Pike in Robinson, PA. We have created an environment where music, art, and education thrive.
