Zoey Wolfe
Zoey Wolfe is a classical soprano, musician, and educator based in Pittsburgh and Chambersburg, Pennsylvania. She is currently a student at Duquesne University, pursuing a dual degree in Music Education (B.S.) and Music Performance (B.M.). She has experience as a performer in both classical and commercial settings, with a background that spans opera, musical theatre, and live gigging as a vocalist and guitarist. Zoey has experience teaching students of all ages in multiple musical environments. She brings to her teaching a strong foundation in voice, guitar, flute, electric bass, and piano, developed through years of private study and extensive vocal and ensemble training. As a performer, Zoey has sung leading roles in operatic and theatrical productions, performed as a soloist in concert settings, and worked as a live gig musician across Pennsylvania. She is currently a soprano in the Duquesne University Voices of Spirit, the school’s premier choral ensemble, and has competed in numerous classical vocal competitions. She was awarded First Place Undergraduate in the Marguerite DePhillips Dougherty Voice Competition and has also been a competitor in NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) events. Her versatility as both a classical and contemporary artist allows her to connect with students pursuing a wide range of musical styles. Zoey is passionate about helping students grow not only as musicians but also as confident and creative individuals. She believes music education should be joyful, encouraging, and student-centered, with a focus on building strong fundamentals while nurturing each student’s unique musical voice. To her, music is an expression of art, and she finds it essential to remind students of the importance of the art they are creating every time they make music. Outside of teaching, Zoey continues to perform regularly both on stage, in ensembles, and as a live singer-songwriter.
