Taine Garcia Olea
Taine García Olea is an accomplished educator and professional instrumentalist with international experience in both viola and violin performance. Her extensive career as a performer and teacher has enabled her to connect deeply with her students, guiding them to become expressive, technically proficient musicians who communicate a message of love through music.
Taine taught for two years at the Manuel Saumell Conservatory of Music in Havana, Cuba, instructing students of all ages. She has successfully prepared many of them for competitive auditions and live performances, equipping them with the discipline, confidence, and artistry needed to thrive on stage.
As a teacher, Taine emphasizes building a solid technical foundation and true mastery of the instrument—an approach that empowers students to feel comfortable and confident in any musical genre. She achieves this by combining focused instrumental instruction with alternating theory classes and a dynamic, engaging repertoire. She especially enjoys teaching classical repertoire and genres, as well as the rich and expressive traditions of Latin American music.
As a member of the Orchestra of the National Ballet of Cuba Alicia Alonso and the Chamber Orchestra of Soloists in Havana, Taine gained broad experience and mastery of the classical orchestral repertoire. Her deep-rooted passion for Latin American music—especially the vibrant traditions of her native Cuba—has led her to collaborate with some of the region’s most prominent artists, including Frank Fernández, Alejandro Falcón, and renowned Christian singer Julissa Arce Rivera.
Her dedication to classical music was recognized when she earned second place in the Young Musician of the Caribbean Award, organized by the British Chamber of Commerce. Today, Taine is devoted to sharing the transformative power of music with her students, encouraging them to embrace its universality and the remarkable opportunities it offers.
