This class will be a fun and friendly introduction of musical theater performance. We will be performing Pure Imagination, a brand-new revue featuring songs from Broadway Junior musicals based on adored titles like Seussical and Shrek The Musical to Disney favorites like Beauty and the Beast and Frozen.
 
Class: Tuesdays & Thursdays at 3-4pm from June 21 to July 14 (must attend 5 of 7 classes)
Mandatory Dress Rehearsals: July 14th from 3-6pm and July 16th at 1pm (before show)
Performance: July 16th at 3pm at Crossway Church
 
Class instructor Angela Gross has enjoyed the arts since she can remember. Angela was involved in every school choir possible throughout her school years. She learned guitar and organ to be able to accompany herself. Angela is an active performer at church services and weddings throughout the Pittsburgh area. Angela began directing vocals for music theater since 2003. She has worked with high school & middle school casts on their annual musicals, and has led worship teams for youth summer camps and Bible schools. Angela loves teaching music and drawing from her students the same passion & excitement she finds in musical performance. She also feels a strong call to encourage creativity and confidence in the youth, a call that extends from music into her photography business. She loves that performance unleashes a part of us all that shows our inner strength and emotional range. Angela and her husband Dave live in Gibsonia, PA with their four children.
